Cubans to compete at the Punta Cana Cycling Grand Prix 2025

 HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 4 (ACN) A quintet of Cuban masters riders will take part at the Punta Cana 2025 Grand Prix of Cycling, to be held on June 6 and 7.

The team is headed by Joselin Piedra (Group B from 40 to 49 years old), and will be completed by Jose Ramon Reyes (C-50 to 59), Eryk Alfredo Gonzalez and Eridan Alberto Gonzalez (both C) and Roberto Diaz (B).

Ramon Arteaga, organizer of school and master races, will be its technical director, and Yaritza Leiva will be the physiotherapist.

The team, whose invitation was endorsed by the national commission, travels to the Dominican resort this Thursday, date scheduled for the technical meeting at night, said Arteaga.

For more than a decade, the master cyclists have contributed to the training of the new generations, since many of them maintain competitive stability, which the members of the national pre-selection take advantage of.
