HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 6 (ACN) The Cuban boxer Teudys Brook (71 kg) will seek today his second victory to secure a bronze medal in the Youth World Cup Adriatic Pearl 2025, held in Budva, Montenegro.
After his 3-2 victory over the Russian Pavel Ermakov on Tuesday, Brook―the only Cuban boxer still in competition―will be opposite the also Russian Timofey Teniaev.
The other Cuban athletes registered in this Youth World Boxing Cup were Bárbaro Quevedo (51 kg), Ronald Cutiño (57 kg) and Lester Bello (75 kg), but all three lost in their first appearances.
