HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 6 (ACN) The four Cuban judokas who are training for this year’s tournaments are already in Hungary to continue their preparation after competing in the Grand Slams of Paris and Tashkent.
Along with Iván Silva (100 kg), two-time bronze medal winner in the said events, are Andy Granda (+100 kg)―also third in Tashkent―Jonathan Charón (60 kg) and Maylín del Toro (63 kg).
Ahead of them in 2025 are the Grand Prix of Linsz, Austria (March 7-9), a training base in Nymburk (March 10-17), and the Grand Slam of Tbilisi, Georgia (March 21-23), as well as the Pan American Championships in Santiago de Chile (April 25-27) and the world championships in Hungary (June 13-20), among other competitions in Cuba and abroad.
