HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 29 (ACN) The Cuban women’s U-17 team be opposite Turks and Caicos Islands in its second game of the first round of the CONCACAF Championship, a qualifier for the 2025 FIFA World Cup to be held in Morocco from October 17 to November 8.
The Cubans notched up a 2-1 victory over Guyana in their first appearance, whereas their rivals lost 9-0 to Panama.
The CONCACAF qualifiers kicked off on January 27 with a new two-round format to determine which four teams of the 22 in competition will represent the region in the 2025 World Cup.
