HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 12 (ACN) MARABANA 2024 director Carlos Gattorno announced that 2,131 runners from 46 countries have already confirmed their presence in the November 17 race, albeit the figure is likely to rise.
Featured in the program of the event, dedicated this year to both the 505th anniversary of the founding of Havana and the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, are the 10 km, 21 km and 5 km races.
Vietnam (15), United States (72), and Mexico (72) boast the highest number of runners in MARABANA 2024, which will gather 1,563 men and 568 women, including 87 competitors over 65 years of age.
