HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 5 (ACN) According to information published by the digital portal Jit, due to the possible effects of tropical storm Rafael in the western region of the country, the cancellation of international skating competitions organized for next weekend in Havana was determined.
According to the publication, those in charge of the 4th edition of the Havana Skate Marathon and the third stop of the World Skate Marathon Tour world circuit, scheduled for the 8th to 10th of this month, confirmed that these competitions will be postponed.
In correspondence with the information provided by Jit, it is explained that the decision to postpone these competitions is a consequence of the possible effects that tropical storm Rafael may cause in the territory.
The International Federation that rules this sport was notified about the situation caused by the threat of Rafael.
