HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 1 (ACN) The Gran Caribe Hotel Business Group S.A. celebrates its 31st anniversary today, reaffirming its position as one of the leaders in the Cuban tourism sector while promoting the nation's greatest values.
According to the Communications Department of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), the Group consolidates its commitment to excellence and hospitality, as well as the preservation of its historical and cultural heritage.
Through a press release issued by MINTUR, it was announced that 2025 also marks historic dates for two of Gran Caribe's heritage jewels: the 150th anniversary of the Hotel Inglaterra, consolidating its status as one of Cuba's oldest continuously operating hotels and a National Monument since 1981, and the 95th anniversary of the emblematic Hotel Nacional, reaffirming its status as a global icon of the hotel industry and a World Heritage Site.
With more than 13,000 rooms and a presence in strategic destinations such as Havana, Varadero, Cienfuegos, Cayo Largo del Sur, Cayo Guillermo, and Cayo Coco, the Group operates with prestigious foreign management companies such as Meliá, Iberostar, Blue Diamond, Barceló, NH Hotels, ROC Hotels, and Blau Hotels, guaranteeing international quality standards.
The Gran Caribe Hotel Business Group was founded on August 1, 1994, and is celebrating its 31st anniversary this year with the aim of continuing to be an ambassador of Cuban hospitality to the world.
