HAVANA, Cuba, July 9 (ACN) Ferromar S.A. received representatives of the World Food Program (WFP) in a meeting attended by officials from the Ministry of Transportation and the Top Management of the Mariel Special Development Zone.
According to a post on Ferromar's Facebook page, Carlos Jesús Martínez Rodríguez, Director of Execution and Cargo for the company, gave the visitors an overview of the main results in container transportation, the efficient use of the country’s Loading and Unloading Centers the country, and the use of the 2PL model in logistic operations.
The participants also discussed the company’s crime prevention measures implemented in accordance with established security protocols.
The members of the WFP delegation expressed satisfaction at the results achieved by Ferromar S.A., founded in May 2021 as a special user of the Zone for the transportation of freight containers and passengers throughout the island and for the operation of the Mariel-Havana double-track railway service.
