Havana, June 24 (ACN) China’s Yikoto Caribe company, in the import and trading of foodstuffs and automobiles is participating for the first time at Expocaribe 2025 International Trade Fair underway in the eastern Cuban city of Santiago de Cuba.
The Chinese company expects to set up a logistic center in Santiago to favor the access and distribution of its products to Cuban territories, Yikoto Caribe commercial manager Gilberto Galvez told the Cuban News Agency.
Yikoto Caribe expects to expand operations on the island in order to help local economic development, the diversification of the Cuban market and the improvement of the people’s quality of life.
The 20th Expocaribe Trade Fair is being attended by representatives of local and foreign companies, who expect to expand trade relations with Cuba and with other nations of this region.
