HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 20 (ACN) Cuban Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTTS by its Spanish acronym) announced a National Employment Fair for this Friday, February 21, in all the country's municipalities.
As reported by the MTTS on its Facebook profile, the event is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. and participants will receive the necessary information to have a secure formal job.
The fairs are attended by companies, government agencies and private management forms that publicize job vacancies and calls for different training courses in trades.
One of the main purposes of this initiative is to legalize the labor ties of informal workers, thus guaranteeing them the benefits granted by the social security system and other rights enshrined in the Labor Code.
