HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 1 (ACN) BioBridge Medical Technology, a 100 % Cuban company, opened in China, is a milestone for the Caribbean nation's biotechnology, marking a new business management model for cooperation.
This was highlighted by the president of the Caribbean nation's Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries Group (Biocubafarma), Mayda Mauri Perez, who participated in the opening ceremony of the entity located in the high-tech development zone of Shijiazhuang, Hebei.
The purpose of BioBridge will be to promote new research and development projects, as well as to speed up the search for financing for the growth of the sector.
The directive pointed out that this company will include innovative projects that could satisfy global health challenges.
According to Biocubafarma on the same social network, the entity is a practical implementation of the consensus between the presidents of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, and China, Xi Jinping, on biotechnology.
