HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 17 (ACN) Intended to promote the presence of Venezuelan products and services at the upcoming Havana International Fair (FIHAV), the Venezuela-Cuba Business Opportunities Forum started today in Caracas.
The event is part of an agenda prepared by the Cuban embassy to announce and publicize the 40th anniversary of the largest multi-sectoral trade fair in the Caribbean.
Rubén Ramos, head of Embassy’s trade office, pointed out that the Forum marks the closing of this program, which included online meetings with pharmaceutical, agricultural, cultural, construction, industrial and other sectors.
Durin the event, to be attended by Venezuelan officials from the Foreign Trade, Business and Export Promotion Bank and members of the diplomatic corps, there will be presentations of trade opportunities with Cuba and general information about FIHAV will be made available to Venezuelan businesspeople.
Venezuela is expected to attend the Fair with an official and a business delegation, bound to participate in an Investment Forum on November 5 and 6, as well as in the celebrations for Venezuela's National Day and in-person rounds of a Business Forum.
