Havana, Jun 3 (ACN) Cuba will participate at the Saint Petersburg 2024 International Economic Forum, which will be attended by over 17 thousand representatives of 136 countries of the world.
The Cuban delegation, headed by Deputy Premier Ricardo Cabrisas, arrived in Russia invited to take part at the forum and to meet a working program aimed at keep expanding and diversifying the Cuba-Russia economic, commercial, financial and cooperation relations.
The Cuban agenda includes meetings with the co-presidents of the Intergovernmental Commission for economic-commercial and scientific-technical relations. Ricardo Cabrisas and Russian government vice-president Dmitry Chernyshenko will address major issues dealt with by the Commission.
The Cuban delegation includes Transportation Minister Eduardo Rodriguez; ambassador Julio Garmendia; first deputy minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Carlos Luis Jorge and the Director for Europe at the Cuban Foreign Ministry Ileana Nunez as well as the director for Commercial Policy with this part of the world at the Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Ministry Inalvis Bonachea.
