HAVANA, Cuba, May 22 (ACN) The 4th International Fair of Food, Beverages, Packaging and Food Technology CUBA 2024, under way in Havana, is intended to showcase goods and services for export and to promote production linkages for the benefit of industry and other sectors.
Sponsored by Fira Barcelona, the Palco Business Group and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, CUBA 2024 gathers Entrepreneurs from more than 20 countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Namibia, Chile and Venezuela, are gathered in CUBA 2024, during which most stands are hosting meetings conducive to business deals, letters of intent or agreements between producers, importers or traders of food, raw materials or technology from Cuban enterprises or joint ventures who exhibit their portfolios of products and services to attract foreign investment.
At the same time, potential foreign investors receive detailed information about Cuban legal regulations in order to speed up the processes and their approval and learn about the benefits to and opportunities for doing business in the island despite the intensified U.S. blockade.
At the opening of the fair, Alberto López Díaz, Minister of Food Industry, thanked the foreign participants for their confidence in Cuba, “since your presence here bolsters not only business but also our will to find alternatives for the people, even in such difficult circumstances,” he pointed out.
