Havana, April 11 (ACN) Indonesia’s Archipelago International Hotel Group announced the expansion of operations in Cuba by managing six hotels amidst the ongoing recovery of the island’s tourist sector.
A report issued by Europe’s Travel Trade Caribbean (TTC), cited by PL news agency reads that the Indonesian group is the largest hotel company in South East Asia, with over 200 hotels around the world.
In Cuba, the Indonesian company manages six hotels in the island’s five major tourist centers, while it expects to open another hotel called Aston Panorama La Habana, which is a facility undergoing repairs.
Over the past four years, Indonesia’s Archipelago got contracts to operate several tourist resorts accounting for more than 3 thousand rooms.
