Experts highlight values of Trinidad cigar brand 55 years after its creation



HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 1 (ACN) A panel on the Trinidad brand and presentations of pairings of premium cigars with wines, tequila and famous Cuban rums took place on Thursday at the 24th Habano Festival at the Havana Convention Center in Havana.

Before a full plenary room, specialists and officials linked to the more than 50 years of the brand with the name of that colonial city highlighted that since its origins in 1969, when it was made exclusively as a gift from the State to dignitaries visiting Cuba, it has been conquering the most demanding aficionados.

They explained that the entry into the international market of "Trinidad" was the most exciting revelation in the world of Premium cigars on the threshold of the third millennium, as its vitolas are made entirely with leaves from the best plantations in the area of Vuelta Abajo, in Pinar del Rio.

At the top of the portfolio of Habanos S.A. Corporation is currently that brand with origin and purpose shared with Cohiba, with prestige and care in every detail that make it a leader in quality and exclusivity.

On the penultimate day of the traditional event, several rooms of the Havana Convention Center hosted presentations of pairings of Havana cigars with wines, tequila and Caney Añejo, Havana Club and Tributo rums, while the trade fair continued to attract interest and business.

Participants in the meeting visited the famous Partagas, H. Hupmann, La Corona and El Laguito factories, where they received a torcido class, made their respective cigars and exchanged with managers and workers.
