24th edition of Habano Festival kicks off today in Havana

HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 26 (ACN) The 24th edition of the Habano Festival kicks off today, when the Havana Convention Center opens its Trade Fair, which this year welcomes 85 companies from 11 countries and becomes a meeting point for professionals of the sector, manufacturers of premium cigars and artisans.

Until March 1, the Cuban capital will once again become the world headquarters of that exportable product, and this time the traditional event will be dedicated to the 50th and 55th anniversaries of the renowned Quai D'Orsay and Trinidad brands, respectively, and to the 30th anniversary of the Habanos S.A. Corporation.

Also today, Monday, during a press conference, the Organizing Committee will give more details on the much-awaited international event, which is usually attended by specialists, distributors and enthusiasts from several countries to learn about the latest news and offers from the Habanos S.A. Corporation and other institutions.

The program also includes visits to famous factories in Havana and tobacco plantations in Pinar del Rio, an international seminar with lectures by experts and researchers, as well as exclusive pairings and contests.

Once again, the Habano Festival will recognize those who in 2023 have given the most support to that product in terms of communication, business and production, and to round it all off, there will be an auction of humidors whose money will go to Cuban public health.
