SANTIAGO DE CUBA, Cuba, Feb 21 (ACN) The local chapter of the Cuban Association of Economists and Accountants (ANEC) urged to step up support to the socialist state enterprise through the upgrading and increased engagement of its members, whose expertise was praised by ANEC leader Oscar Luis Hung.
On his end, ANEC vice president Ramón Labañino stressed the importance of strengthening production linkages between state and non-state sectors, “since Cuba has one economy and unity leads to better results”, and called to get young members more involved in the effort.
Likewise, other ANEC officials referred to the benefits brought by the organization’s links with local development projects and its action plan to tackle illegalities and corruption.
ANEC will soon celebrate its 44th anniversary by improving its strategies and measures to reinforce the socialist state enterprise and its ties with the new forms of economic management.
