Varadero Beach to host workshop on tourist destinations

MATANZAS, Cuba, Jan 14 (ACN) Sponsored by the Scientific-Technological Park of the province of Matanzas (PCTM), the 2nd International Workshop on Tourist Destinations Varadero Ciudad Digital will be held on March 15 to 17.

PCTM communicator Lilian Lopez Acuña remarked that the Workshop will be given in the context of the Scientific Congress “University-Society 2024” (UNISOC), organized by the University of Matanzas (UM), and will address development-oriented topics such as governance, sustainability and environment, economy, citizenry and population, and mobility, as well as e-commerce, digital transformation of business models, entrepreneurship, productivity, the labor market, and internationalization.

The project Varadero Ciudad Digital, under way in this local seaside resort, is already showing good results in terms of training of the population in the use of ICTs.
