Havana, Jan 10 (ACN) The Cuban Tourism Ministry (MINTUR) stressed the recent designation of Cuba as first cultural destination in The Americas this year, according to the National Geographic.
MINTUR refers on X to an article by National Geographic magazine dated January 6 placing Cuba as first cultural destination in The Americas this year and posted the link to the publication https://rebrand.ly/CubaPrimerDest
The magazine published the opinions of five experts who shared discussed their views on their favorite cultural destinations in The Americas.
The experts invited to visit the colorful streets of Havana and other sites of the country, and suggested to travel to Peru, Mexico, Colombia and look at the music roots in the United States particularly to what is known as the Deep South.
This way, the first place on the list of favorite cultural destinations in the Americas is Havana, marked by African, Caribbean and Spanish influence. The experts also suggested trips to other Cuban sites like the Vinales valley, the Zapata Peninsula and Cienfuegos.
