Havana, Oct 19 (ACN) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez presented to the diplomatic corps on the island the Cuban report on the damaged inflicted by the US economic, commercial and financial blockade between March 2022 and February 2023.
The minister wrote on X that the accumulated damage stemming from the unilateral US policy amount to over 159 billion dollars.
Next November 1 and 2 the United Nations General Assembly will consider the Cuban bill demanding the end of the US blockade.
Rodriguez has reiterated that the blockade deprives Cuba of crucial revenues to purchase food, fuels, raw material, equipment, and causes shortage, difficulties and anxiety in Cuban families; it is a massive and systematic violation of human rights.
