VARADERO, Cuba, Sep 20 (ACN) Organized by the Palmares Extra-Hotel Company, the Cubasol Business Group and the Ministry of Tourism, the 13th International Festival Varadero Gourmet 2023 begins today at the Plaza America Conference Center.
Felix Julio Alfonso Lopez, doctor in Historical Sciences and professor at the University of Havana, will give the lecture "A general overview of the origins, evolution, preservation and present of Cuban cuisine, with emphasis on its heritage”.
Featured in the program are competitive sessions on tourist entertainment, exhibition stand design, cuisine, and food and beverage services, as well as presentations of products related to sustainability, traditions and countryside farms.
Varadero Gourmet 2023 gathers Cuban and foreign entrepreneurs and specialists engaged in the management and marketing of foods and beverages, academics, clients from the country's tourist parks, and other professionals linked to the so-called leisure industry.
