HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 16 (ACN) In a meeting with directors of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, headed by its president Antonio Luis Carricarte, members of related institutions from more than 20 countries praised the organization and implications of the 38th Havana International Fair FIHAV 2022 and stated their interest in increasing ties with Cuba.
Representatives from Senegal, Rwanda, India, the Basque Country, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Trinidad and Tobago, Portugal, Canada and the United States, among other first-time and repeated visitors, described the event as timely, useful and beneficial for all participating countries.
FIHAV 2022 includes business rounds between local and foreign entrepreneurs, lectures, panels, presentation of goods and services and the celebration of National Days.
Juan Salvador Amato, president of the Argentine Chamber of SMEs, suggested that the 39th edition next year should schedule a meeting of Chambers of Commerce for the benefit of foreign trade, whereas India announced its plans to bring in 2023 more than 100 entrepreneurs.
