Havana, April 29 (ACN) Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Cuban Communist Party Politburo and Prime Minister welcomed Belize’s Premier and Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment, the Honorable Juan Antonio Briceño, who is paying an official visit to Cuba.
At the building hosting the Cuban Council of Ministers, Marrero Cruz wished the visitor a happy stay here and conveyed greetings to the Belizean people and his government determination to keep strengthening cooperation, commercial and economic links in the benefit of the two nations.
The Belizean Premier said that he was honored to visit Cuba representing his government and his people; he noted that friendship relations and the historic links between Belize and Cuba have been very important and strong.
Briceno reiterated his government’s support of Cuba in the international arena against the US economic blockade.
