CIENFUEGOS, Cuba, Dec 8 (ACN) DINS, one of the new private MSMEs in the province of Cienfuegos, aims at strengthening the institutional image of Cuban enterprises, be they state-owned, private or mixed, in order to contribute to their development at home and abroad.
Conceived as a medium-sized enterprise, DINS is a restructured form of self-employment staffed by a graphic designer, a visual artist, a telecommunications engineer and a chemistry engineer, together with more than 40 employees.
Ángel Adrián Fuentes Morales, senior partner of DINS (Institutional Image Design), told ACN that they decided to make the most of this opportunity to merge into a single entity the wide range of services they used to provide as self-employed workers.
“In this way,” he explained, “if an institution needs to register a brand with its own image identity, we take care of designing their furniture, wardrobe, audiovisuals, website and custom-made works, such as signage. At first, DINS was focused on the design of corporate profiles and the production of furniture, but we have broadened our horizons to be able to export.”
DINS is a family business is also immersed in the manufacture of furniture by former employees of Cuba’s Fondo de Bienes Culturales (Fund of Cultural Assets) and other centers that supported their work as independent creators.
