HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 26 (ACN) On the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Economist and Accountant in Cuba, authorities recognized the workers of this important sector.
Alejandro Gil Fernandez, deputy prime minister and minister of economy and planning, said on Twitter: "Thank you for your valuable contribution to the economic and social development of the country".
For his part, the PM, Manuel Marrero Cruz, sent congratulations to the economists and accountants, and highlighted the importance of the sector for Cuba.
Also, on the same social media, deputy prime minister Ines Maria Chapman expressed her recognition to these workers on their day.
The celebration is held in Cuba on November 26 in honor of the inauguration, in 1959, of Comander Ernesto Guevara as President of the National Bank.
