HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 28 (ACN) Cuban PM Manuel Marrero will address the Meeting of Heads of State and Government on Financing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the COVID-19 era, to be held on Tuesday, September 29.
The event will take place virtually within the framework of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, the Cuban foreign ministry published on its official website.
Under the slogan "Bandung + 65: a more relevant, united and effective Non-Aligned Movement against the emerging global challenges, including the COVID-19", the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Coordinating Bureau Ministerial Meeting will also be held on the morning of the same day.
During this meeting, the Cuban minister of foreign affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, will reiterate Cuba's commitment to non-alignment and the defense of the interests of the countries of the South.
