HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 10 (ACN) Gonca Yilmaz Batur, Turkish deputy minister of foreign trade, and Cuban diplomats to Ankara discussed and defined on Wednesday different actions to diversify and expand relations in high interest sectors such as agrifood, industrial, maritime transport, logistics, textile and biopharmaceutical, among others.
In a cordial meeting, both sides reviewed the state of bilateral economic and trade relations and assessed the next steps to be taken to strengthen these links, even in the complex context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They also discussed initiatives to expand exchanges and negotiations between Cuban and Turkish businesses and agreed there are potentialities to continue developing ties between the two countries.
Ambassador Luis Amoros Nuñez and the official in charge of economic and trade issues, Ileana Nuñez Mordoche, participated on the Cuban side, Cuban foreign ministry's website reported.
