VARADERO, Cuba, Aug 17 (ACN) The Cuban International Tourism Fair (FITCUBA) will be held in May 2021 in this resort city, announced Manuel Marrero Cruz, Cuban PM, on Saturday during a working tour around the popular sun and beach destination.
The intention is to hold a great Tourism Fair, with the participation of tour operators and to show new products and a Varadero with a renewed image, based on the number of construction works to be carried out in this peninsula, said the prime minister in the meeting room of the Hotel Melia Internacional.
If this period of tourism crisis, due to the spread of the disease known as COVID-19 on the island and in the world, helped Varadero, it was to perfect its facilities and prepare for a new stage, which is going to be very competitive in commercial terms, he said.
Marrero Cruz called to continue promoting in the domestic market, which is the most faithful and deserves all the respect of our professionals in the sector, as well as having different offers for safe enjoyment.
