Polish tour operator interested in Cuba destination


HAVANA, Cuba, Aug 11 (ACN) Maciej Nykiel, President of the Nekera Tourism Group, reiterated the interest of this Polish tour operator for Cuba destination and advocated for its development and expansion.

During a meeting with Jorge Marti, Cuban ambassador in that central European nation, the businessman learned about the measures adopted by Cuba´s tourism authorities in order to guarantee the safety and protection of visitors.

Marti also explained that Cuba is ready to receive Polish travelers in the Largo, Coco, Guillermo, Cruz and Santa Maria keys.

Nekera is a new tour operator in Poland that has two thousand sale offices throughout the country and exhibits an offer of 15,000 hotels in 127 nations.
The meeting was also attended by David Lobaina, Counselor of the embassy in charge of tourism.

Cuba opened its doors to international tourism through charter flights and only to destinations in the northern keys with the implementation of rigorous health security protocols that include surveillance by medical personnel from the arrival of visitors at the airport and throughout the entire stay, in order to identify any possible sick person in time and provide them with the required care.

In addition, hotel facilities will maintain a strict regime that includes distance between people and frequent disinfection of surfaces.
