HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 21 (ACN) For the fifth consecutive time, Cuba has received the award for Best Cultural Destination in the Caribbean at the World Travel Awards, Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla emphasized today.
On X, Rodríguez Parrilla stated that this award recognizes the country's cultural life and the promotion of its heritage, which all visitors can enjoy. On the same social media, the island's Ministry of Tourism, in announcing the award, emphasized that it is recognition of Cuba's rich heritage and the promotion of its cultural heritage.
In this 32nd edition of the World Travel Awards, Cuba emerged victorious in the category of Best Cultural Destination in the Caribbean, beating out the other nominees: Barbados, Bermuda, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Trinidad and Tobago.
Cuba has won this award annually since 2021.
