HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 15 (ACN) A total of 1,638 works were submitted to participate at the 46th edition of the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, according to the official website of the important film event.
In the event's various categories, it added, 1,044 films were submitted, along with 120 posters and 474 scripts.
The source indicates that the various selection committees are currently working on the processes of film screenings, script readings, and poster evaluations to determine the titles that will be included in the official selection of the contest.
The Festival and its organizers also expressed their gratitude for the interest and motivation of hundreds of creators who submitted their works to be part of the upcoming Latin American film event, which Havana will host in December.
This concludes a series of receptions that ran until August 15th, pending the official publication of the competitive program and screenings for each section of the 46th edition of the Havana Film Festival, which will take place from December 4th to 14th.
