SANCTI SPIRITUS, Cuba, July 23 (ACN) With a visual language that invites reflection and collective construction based on the confluence of works made by Cuban and foreign artists, the exhibition Lines Online―organized in this city and sponsored by the Union of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC), the provincial daily Escambray, and the local Visual Arts Council―brings the public closer to graphic humor.
According to Lines Online curator José Alberto Rodríguez Avila, the event boasts the exhibition of works from Cuba, Poland, Iran, Brazil, the Philippines, the Netherlands, Italy, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia, as well as discussions on subjects as topical as fake news, artificial intelligence, and the genocide committed by the Israeli government against Palestine.
Also in display is The Archer's Paradox, a 15-piece exhibition of Mr. Rodriguez’s work, reproduced by Cuban and foreign publications and presented in Havana during the 24th International Biennial of Graphic Humor.
