HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 19 (ACN) The 9th Salsa Festival in Cuba will open its doors this evening at the Memories Miramar Hotel in Havana with a concert by the band Adalberto Alvarez y su Son.
Event president Maykel Blanco said that, for the first time, the program of the Festival features performances by Cuban and foreign dancers, specifically from the United States and Peru.
With the said hotel and Club 500 as its venues, the Salsa Festival is a major attraction among dancers in Cuba and elsewhere and an opportunity to promote Cuban music at international level.
