HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 8 (ACN) Cuba’s Casa de las Americas has just announced the contest for the 2025 Literary Award in the categories of poetry, short stories, and studies on Latinos in the United States.
A post on the entity’s Facebook page points out that only native or naturalized Latin American authors are eligible for the poetry and short-story contests, whereas those of any nationality can participate in the case of the Latino studies as long their works are in line with the topic.
Casa de las Americas underscored that a single indivisible prize will be awarded for each genre and assured that the winning work will be published.
The deadline for registration will close on February 28 at 12:00 midnight Cuban time, and the winners will be announced on April 25, 2025.
