Cuban Foreign Minister salutes art exhibition “Cuba is not alone”

 

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 27 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla hailed the exhibition “Cuba is not alone”, organized in New York on October 29 and 30 on the occasion of the debate of Resolution 78/7 of the United Nations General Assembly against the U.S. blockade of the island.

Intended to celebrate the resistance of the Cuban people against the 60-plus years old economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States, “Cuba is not alone” is the brainchild of the Artists vs Blockade movement, which has joined the worldwide clamor for the end of sanctions against Cuba and its removal from the U.S. unilateral list of state sponsors of terrorism and has invited artists, graphic designers and creators to join the #CubaIsNotAlone campaign.

“Join a cause that transcends borders and share your talent,” its announcement reads. “Now more than ever, it is crucial to amplify the voices of support for the Cuban people, who have resisted unjust and unilateral sanctions for decades. Your creativity can make a difference”.
