HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 1 (ACN) The Anglo-Hispanic-Mexican University (UAHM) will confer this Friday an honorary doctorate to Lizt Alfonso, Jorge Perugorria, Carlos Alberto Cremata, Roberto Fabelo and Manuel Mendive, in recognition of “decades of dedication, taking the name of Cuba to the highest level”.
According to Lizt Alfonso's office, the honorary director of the UAHM, Daniel Martin Subiaut, said this when commenting on this investiture, which will take place in Havana, in the Hemicycle of Universal Art of the National Museum of Fine Arts.
The release emphasizes that the Honoris Causa is the highest recognition granted by a university to national or foreign personalities, in recognition of their excellence and outstanding merits.
The Anglo-Hispanic-Mexican University is headquartered in the city of Puebla de Zaragoza, known as Puebla.
