Havana, Sept 30 (ACN) Five outstanding Cuban artists will be granted the Honoris Causa degrees by the Anglohispanomexicana( www.uahm.org) University (UAHM) .
The Cuban artists to soon receive the Honoris Causa degree at Havana’s Universal Arts Museum are: choreographer Lizt Alfonso; the director of the La Colmenita Children Company Calos Cremata; actor Jorge Perugorria, and visual artists Roberto Fabelo and Manuel Mendive.
The Lizt Alfonso dancing company, led by dancer and maître Alfonso, will perform during the granting ceremony, which will be attended by Colombian Culture Minister Patricia Ariza, Mexican Senator Jorge Ramirez, among other personalities.
This year the Anglohispanomexicana University, based in the Mexican locality of Puebla has granted the Honoris Causa degree to other Cuban artists, such as pianist Frank Fernandez and musician Edesio Alejandro, and the Spanish band Mocedades. Lc
