HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 29 (ACN) Portuguese academic pianist Bernardo Santos will have his first performance in Cuba on October 2 with works by leading names such as Franz Liszt, Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky, and his fellow countryman Antonio Fragoso.
The concert also features guest Cuban soloists, including the cellist Amaya Juztis and the soprano Tiffany Hernández, who will share the stage with the Portuguese musician.
Bernardo Santos, who combines his artistic career with research on Portuguese music from the 20th century, is the author of critical editions of works by Berta Alves de Sousa, Frederico de Freitas and Ruy Coelho.
