Second edition of Europe Month in Cuba kicks off today

HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 9 (ACN) The 2nd edition of the Month of Europe in Cuba will kick off today and will last until May 9, in the cities of Havana, Cienfuegos, Holguin, Santiago de Cuba and the special municipality of Isle of Youth.

Authorities participating in the event explained that it is made up of a heterogeneous cultural program with artistic manifestations such as cinema, music, theater, literature, visual arts and dance.

During the event, the main protagonist will be the seventh art with the celebration of the 7th European Film Festival, from the 10th to the 21st this month, and other events such as the International Film Festival and Caribbean Environment "Isla Verde" on the Isle of Youth and the International Educational Film Festival.
It was announced that the program will include exhibitions, painting workshops and talks in Santiago de Cuba, Cienfuegos and Holguin.

The Month of Europe in Cuba is a multicultural and multinational event aimed at building bridges of cooperation, development, messages of peace and tolerance, in which the 17 member states of the European Union will be present in Havana.
