HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 16 (ACN) The feature film ¨Inocencia¨ will represent Cuba at the Mira Pa 'Cá Festival, a Latin American film series in Argentina that presents contemporary films with the aim of disseminating cinema production in the region.
This initiative, the result of cooperation between the embassies of the participating countries, the Ministry of Culture of Argentina, the Secretariat of Media and Public Communication and the National Museum of Fine Arts, will present in its third edition, now virtual, a list of audiovisual products from the region, and from Spain and Portugal as guest nations, through the Cont. AR platform.
The event will take place from September 16 to October 12 and the public will be able to enjoy the Cuban film on September 19, 20 and 21, according to the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Based on real events, the film Inocencia, by filmmaker Alejandro Gil, tells of events related to the execution in 1871 of eight young Cuban medical students by the Spanish colonial authorities.
