HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 9 (ACN) The tropical storm Eta, which today is moving over the southeast of the Gulf of Mexico, has had little change in organization and intensity and remains with maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour, with higher gusts, and a central pressure of 992 hectoPascal.
At 9:00 a.m., its central region was estimated at 25.0 degrees North latitude and 83.2 degrees West longitude, a position that places it about 220 kilometers northwest of Havana and about 235 kilometers north of Bahia Honda, Artemisa.
Eta is now moving towards the west, at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour, and in the next hours it will tilt its trajectory towards the west-southwest and from the afternoon to the southwest, so it will continue its movement over the southeast of the Gulf of Mexico.
During this movement, it may gradually gain in organization and intensity, with the possibility of becoming a hurricane by Tuesday.
The winds can be a bit stronger at night in areas of the northern coast of the Pinar del Rio province and the western end, where they will have a western component.
