The work of the Cuban presidency during this period focused on three key lines: progress in implementing Agenda 2030 in the region, strengthening South-South cooperation, and prioritizing the Caribbean.
For her part, Alicia Barcenas expressed it has been an exceptional, excellent presidency, and they have accompanied us in the framework of this pandemic, showing immediate reaction capacity, which is required in moments like these.
Cuba has exercised a great presidency, with leadership, commitment and conviction, putting its diplomatic experience and south-south cooperation at the service of the whole region, she added.
