HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 6 (ACN) Forty-four years after the crime of Barbados, Cuba commemorates Tuesday the day of the victims of State terrorism, when recalling the more than 3,400 people have died as a result of US aggressions perpetrated against the Caribbean country.
As it is tradition every year on this date, since 1976, tribute is paid to the 73 passengers of a Cubana de Aviacion plane who lost their lives due to the act of sabotage organized by the terrorists Luis Posada Carriles and Orlando Bosch, at the service of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
During the 60 decades of the Cuban revolution, the US government has financed secret operations against this country, and thousands of sabotage acts have been organized and executed.
The terrorist actions have included economic, military, biological, psychological, diplomatic, media and espionage attacks, as well as attempts to assassinate leaders.
The most recent act was what happened against the Cuban embassy to Washington last April 30, when the Cuban-born citizen Alexander Alazo shot at the diplomatic headquarters, which to date has not resulted in an official statement by that government condemning the events.
The authors of the Barbados crime died with impunity, rewarded, encouraged. They spoke shamelessly, under the protection of the freedoms afforded by that empire, a paradise for criminals, the Granma newspaper published Tuesday regarding the Crime of Barbados.
What is the difference between the slap in the face they said then: We planted the bomb, so what, and the calm of the shooter who machine-gunned the Cuban embassy to Washington, last April, when he said: I would have shot the Cuban ambassador," the newspaper article concluded.
