HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 8 (ACN) Cuban triple jumpers Leyanis Perez and Liadagmis Povea finished first and second respectively in the World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver of Mondeville, France.
Perez, winner in the 1st Junior Pan Am Games of Cali, Colombia, in 2021 and in the Ibero-American tournament last May in Alicante, Spain, registered a personal best of 14.48 m, whereas Povea, fifth in Tokyo 2020 and third in the Pan Am Games of Lima in 2019, jumped 14.39 m.
The Cubans were followed by the Turkish Tugba Danismaz, third with a 14.12 m jump.
