HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 11 (ACN) A representation of the Cuban Women's Nuclear Network will participate on Saturday in an international online event to encourage their participation in the peaceful applications of nuclear energy.
The event is hosted by Women in Nuclear Global (WiN Global), an organization that supports and inspires women working in the nuclear industries, and will feature the long-distance presence of its WiN Cuba chapter.
The Cuban Nuclear Communicators Network (RECNUC by its Spanish acronym) also informed that a group of specialists from the country will attend the debates and that the program includes an online festival called Women in the Nuclear: Conquering Spaces in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The presentations by nations will be before a panel on issues mainly related to human health, food safety, environment and irradiation technologies.
