Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States.

His history is that of the values of the United State's heart, raised in a middle class family, in the devotion to education and work to progress in life and in the conviction that such a blessed life should be dedicated to serve one's neighbor.

President Obama was born to a father from Kenya and a mother from Kansas, in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. As a child he lived for some period with his grandfather, who served in Patton's army and his grandmother who reached an intermediate range in a bank management as a secretary.
After taking university studies thanks to student loans and the scholarships obtained, President Obama moved to Chicago, where he worked with a group of churches to help rebuild the communities devastated by the closure of local steel mills.
Shortly after, he enrolled in the Law School of Harvard, where he became the first Afro-American chairman of Harvard Law Review. After his graduation, he returned to Chicago to lead an initiative to register voters, teach lessons of constitutional law at the University of Chicago and keep active in his community.
President Obama's years of service respond to the strong belief that it's possible to join the people around a policy of purpose. In the Illinois Senate, President Obama promoted the most important ethic reform in 25 years, he cut off the taxes of the families in the work force and enhanced health service for children and parents. As senator of Illinois, he worked alongside the opposition to moderate the influence of lobbies, to assure the weapons of mass destruction and promote governmental transparency reporting all the Government's online expenditure.
He was elected President of the United States of America on November 4, 2008 and took oath on January 20, 2009. He was re-elected in 2012. He and his wife Michelle, are proud of their daughters Malia (17), and Sasha (15).
