Raul Congratulates Vietnam on 70th Anniversary of Independence

HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 1 (acn) The President of the Cuban councils of State and Ministers, Army General Raul Castro, congratulated the Communist Party, government and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the commemoration on Wednesday of the 70th anniversary of that country's independence.

I extend our most sincere and fraternal congratulations on behalf of the Communist Party, the government and the people of Cuba, reads the message, cited by the Prensa Latina news agency and addressed to the general secretary of that organization, Nguyen Phu Trong; Truong Tan Sang, President the country; and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
