HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 31 (acn) Salvadorian President Salvador Sanchez Cerén, who is in Cuba for a routine medical check-up, accused the leader of his country´s Nationalistic Republican Alliance Party (ARENA), Jorge Velado, to have violated his privacy.
On his twitter account, the President asked general attorney Luis Martinez to investigate the political leader for having revealed details about his trip to Cuba for his check-up.
"I´m taking a routine medical check-up, which was scheduled several months ago and if its necessary I will suspend it and return sooner to my country," said President Sanchez Ceren.
He said that he appointed vice-president Oscar Ortiz and the general secretary of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front in charge of the country. Vice-president Ortiz confirmed the trip of the head of state to Cuba on Wednesday for a medical check-up.
