HAVANA, Cuba, May 27 (acn) As part of commemorations for the 55 anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, Cuba and Rumania signed a visa exemption accord in Havana.
The exemption includes official, diplomatic and service passports, PL news agency reported on Wednesday.
With this initiative, Cuba and Rumania ratify their willingness to keep expanding bilateral relations on the basis of the postulates of the UN Charter.
The accord was penned by deputy foreign minister Rogelio Sierra and Rumanian ambassador to Havana Dumitru Preda at the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
The chief of the European Union mission in Havana, Herman Portocarero attended the signing of the protocol.
